The integration of English Lauguage Teaching into the daily activities
In our kindergarden an English teacher teaches the children int he middle and old groups, together with their parents, once a week.
According to their age in playful, moving forms she teaches, practises the given topics.
She continiously talks to the children in Hungarian and in English, makes them do things and makes them talk.
The English teacher on each lesson teaches a new rhyme or song in order to arouse their interests, and urge their activities.

Our kindergarden teachers take part very actively in the lessons. What they learn there, they integrate on each day somehow into the groups everyday life.

Order of the events:
1. Greeting
We greet doll Ketrin. We pratise the different greetings.
Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening, good night, Hello, Good bye, Bye – Bye, See you, See you later.
Song: Good morning,good morning,good morning to you
Good morning,good morning and how do you do?
2. Introducing
Different expressions used while introducing
- What’s your name?
- My name is……
- I am…..
- Stand up!
- Sit down!
- Please
Rhyme: Sally, Sally tell me true
Sally, Sally who are you
3. Getting to know fruits
Ketrin brings presents to the children.
A basket full of fruits: apples, pears, oranges, bananas, grapes.
We name the fruits in Hungarian and in English.
We select them, and count them in Hungarian and in English too.
Children do activites:
- Stand up! Go to three grapes, two apples, ect.
Four bananas, five bananas, six bananas, seven bananas more.
We play the rhyme with different other fruits.
4. Situacion plays: In the shop
