Our resources
This year
Cocuk Kasabasi decided to use different
resources in comparison with previous years. In 2014-15 academic year we are going to use “Big jungle fun 1 &2 ” of Richmond publishing
with our 3 and 4 - years old kids and
“Show and Tell 2 ” of Oxford university
press with 5-years old kids.
As an extra resource for story telling we have chosen "Jamboree" publication.We believe that story telling improves children's
English more than any other activity!
We do hope to create young
thinkers with great futures so we are challenging ourselves together with kids!
Because the aim of our kindergarten is to help to provide to our children with
a rich and varied curriculum that will develop their ability to learn
effectively as well as providing a stimulating and challenging introduction to
English!

English and camping! Nice combination!:)
During the summer camp 2014 Cocuk Kasabasi’ kids
were going on camping once a week. There
they had different entertaining games
and activities. Definitely I will tell you about our fun English activities
where we were able to practice different topic vocabularies and
word-combinations. Under the text you can see some vocabulary which we have
practised with kids. The camping is very productive way for English acquisition
and at the same time to have rest with kids!

collect(to pick up) flowers

play hide and seek
·

Etc.
Back to school
Several
days ago all kids came back from summer holidays happy and full of energy! We
had a lot of different activities, surprises and games for them! Of course that important and
ground-breaking day for us we haven’t
forgotten about English language!
We have played simple but marvellous games where we could practise such word combinations as “Hello! My name is…” and “How are you? I am fine, thank you!”. So from the very first day children were introduced with English teacher and language.

How does the sport influence English in our kindergarten?
In this
article we can answer this easy question and share some photos from our sport and
pool activities with you.
During the
summer camp we were able to make pool activities .It helped kids to improve their health and knowledge of
English because the English teacher was
attending every activity so kids were able to hear not
only Turkish commands but English too.
During sport and pool lessons we practiced the following vocabulary:
